Ifi realizes Caffè Italia

The new educational space of ALMA

A space within the International School of Italian cuisine designed to combine a meeting place with a formative dimension. An innovative environment in terms of concept and technology, entirely designed by Ifi.

Caffè Italia’s mood is perfectly integrated into the prestigious site in which it is located, the historic Reggia di Colorno. The classic lines of the bar counter and the nuance of the aesthetics recall the external style of the location combining at the same time cutting-edge technology of Panorama, awarded with Compasso d'Oro. Aesthetics marry functionality and attention to the person with the workbench designed and built in modules to be easily moved and managed during teaching lessons; the area accessible for those with disabilities and the operational area equipped with lead-free mixers, an Ifi standard aimed to the protection of people’s well-being.

Gianfranco Tonti, president of Ifi, commented the inauguration of Caffè Italia: "I welcome with enthusiasm this very important moment in the collaboration between ALMA and Ifi. The path we have undertaken together promises to be very stimulating, with the goal to share experiences and complementary networks in order to worldwide promote food in its highest expression. Since culture and innovations are values we both share, I trust that a multidisciplinary training represents an added value to food future players in the sign of an advanced Italian spirit, able to guide in all over the world.

At the ribbon cutting ceremony, the two presidents: Enzo Malanca, the president of ALMA, and Gianfranco Tonti, the president of Ifi S.p.A., together with the Ifi General Manager, Riccardo Quattrini.
